40th San Jose Fountain Blues & Blues Festival

Silicon Valley’s longest running music festival returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez, Saturday, June 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with award-winning talent to celebrate its 40th year. San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival features 8 bands on 2 stages.

In addition to world-class blues, gospel, soul, R&B and rock music, there will be over 40 varieties of regional craft beers, ciders, and wine, plus the best in local barbecue, New Orleans and other southern-style foods, an artist vendor zone, and interactive family-friendly activities area.

Grace & The Grit band delivers an invigorating blend of soulful blues and gritty rock, creating a
mesmerizing sound that captivates audiences.

1:15 - 2:00      Magick Blues Band

Experience the mesmerizing fusion of blues and mysticism with Magick Blues Band. Their
bewitching harmonies and captivating instrumentation create an enchanting musical journey
that lingers long after the final note.

11:15 - 12:00   Frunkyman

Frunkyman band plays a unique blend of funk and rock, creating a high-energy and groovy
sound that gets audiences dancing. Their music is characterized by infectious basslines, soulful
vocals, and tight instrumentals that deliver an irresistible party vibe.

Advance general admission tickets are $25

VIP seats are $85. VIP tickets provide a seat in a shaded section located near the stage, along with exclusive access to a private bar and flushable toilets. Additionally, the package comes with two drink vouchers and a commemorative 40th San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival t-shirt.

Parking.

There are five ParkSJ garages near the festival. 90 Minutes of FREE. The max charged at the following garages is $10 for Saturday.

What You Need to Know.

  • Gates open at 11 AM.
  • All ticket holders will need to obtain a wristband and have bags checked by security before entering the festival.
  • There will be “in and out” privileges with an event wristband. All bags will be rechecked upon reentering.
  • Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
  • No cans or bottles. No hard-sided coolers.
  • No pets, weapons and sharp objects allowed per City of San José ordinances. "Service Dogs" are permitted with proof of certification.
  • Service dogs with proper identification permitted.
  • Low-back folding chairs and blankets are allowed. Low back lawn chairs typically have a back height ranging from 20 to 28 inches.
  • No unauthorized vendors permitted.
    Picnic-style games and cool fountain for families to enjoy.
  • VIP ticket holders will enjoy the comfort of shaded seating with padded folding chairs, courtesy of the festival.
