40th San Jose Fountain Blues & Blues Festival
Silicon Valley’s longest running music festival returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez, Saturday, June 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with award-winning talent to celebrate its 40th year. San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival features 8 bands on 2 stages.
In addition to world-class blues, gospel, soul, R&B and rock music, there will be over 40 varieties of regional craft beers, ciders, and wine, plus the best in local barbecue, New Orleans and other southern-style foods, an artist vendor zone, and interactive family-friendly activities area.
San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival, supported in part by a Cultural Affairs grant from the City of San José and produced by The Fountain Blues Foundation.
Main stage artists will include:
6:30 - 8:00 Devon Allman Project featuring Larry McCray & Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) “In the Spirit of the Allman Brothers”
4:15 - 5:45 Chris Cain Band
2:00 - 3:30 Diunna Greenleaf Band
12:00 - 1:15 Andre Thierry & His Accordion Soul Music
In addition to the main stage artists, the Poor House Bistro Stage will feature local bands that Bay Area blues fans know and love.

40th Year of San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival. Silicon Valley’s longest running music festival returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez, Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with award-winning talent to celebrate its 40th year.
Craft Beers, Wines and Ciders. Alongside top-notch blues, gospel, soul, R&B, and rock performances, there will be an array of more than 40 microbreweries showcasing their craft beers plus wines, and ciders. You can also savor the finest local barbecue, New Orleans delicacies, and other Southern-style dishes, browse through an artist vendor zone, and engage in interactive, family-friendly activities.

Advance general admission tickets are $25, get two for $40 (limited availability).

Parking.
Festival details.
- All ticket holders will need to get their tickets scanned to obtain a wristband and have bags checked by security before entering the festival.
- There will be “in and out” privileges with all bags rechecked.
- No pets, weapons, and sharp objects.
- No outside food and beverages.
- Service dogs with proper identification are permitted.
- Children 12 and under are free with paid adult
- Low back, beach style chairs and blankets okay.
- VIP ticket holders will have a padded folding chair/seat in the shade provided by the festival (these are GA and not reserved).

The Poor House Bistro Stage
In addition to the main stage artists, the Poor House Bistro Stage will feature Bay Area blues artists, that our fans know and love, between main-stage acts.
