About the Artist

Eric Gales’ time is now. A Grammy-winning, genre-defying force, he’s widely hailed as one of the greatest guitarists on the planet, with praise from icons like Joe Bonamassa, Dave Navarro, and Mark Tremonti. Critics consistently highlight his “jaw-dropping technique” and “soul-deep expression,” cementing his reputation as both virtuoso and storyteller.

From his Grammy-nominated solo work to contributions on the soundtrack of Sinners, Gales continues to push boundaries. His latest album, *Tribute To LJK*, co-produced by Bonamassa and Josh Smith, stands as both a critical triumph and a deeply personal project. The record honors his late brother, Little Jimmy King, with Gales reimagining his songs through a modern lens. Reviewers have called it “powerful,” “reverent,” and “electrifying,” applauding both its emotional weight and fearless musicianship.

The album also features standout collaborations, including Buddy Guy and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, underscoring the deep respect Gales commands across the blues world.

A former *Guitar World* “Best New Talent” winner at just 16, Gales has long been recognized as a trailblazer. His unconventional playing style—flipping a right-handed guitar upside down—only adds to his mystique and originality.

With decades of accolades, peer recognition, and critical acclaim behind him, Eric Gales isn’t just carrying the blues forward—he’s redefining it, proving that his most powerful and celebrated work may still be unfolding.
