Blues and brews—name a better combo. At Narrative Fermentations, the Narrative Blues Jam takes over the taproom every Sunday from 4 to 7 PM. It’s where craft beer meets crafted riffs in one of San Jose’s most exciting brewery spaces.
With a rotation of talented local musicians and a crowd that loves live music, the vibe is always laid-back, but the music? Anything but. Bring your instrument, grab a pint, and jump in—or just chill with friends and enjoy the show.

Activities take a variety of forms, including live performances, broadcasts, lectures, and community education, culminating in the longest-running blues festival in Northern California: the San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival and live music events throughout the year.
