About the Event

The Devon Allman Project featuring Larry McCray & Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the spirit and soul of one of the greatest bands in rock history – the Allman Brothers – brought to life on stage. This electrifying performance will take place at the upcoming 40th San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival in San Jose, where music lovers from all over Norther California will gather to enjoy the best blues music.

Devon Allman, the son of the legendary Gregg Allman, has been carrying on his father’s legacy with his powerful vocals, soulful guitar playing, and an undeniable passion for blues music. He has been touring extensively with the Devon Allman Project, a band that pays tribute to the Allman Brothers while also showcasing original music. With Larry McCray on guitar and Jimmy Hall on vocals, this lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable performance.

Larry McCray is a blues guitarist and singer from Michigan, who has been playing music for over three decades. He has been hailed as one of the best blues guitarists of his generation, and has shared the stage with legends such as B.B. King, Albert Collins, and Buddy Guy. His fiery solos and soulful vocals will add a new dimension to the Devon Allman Project’s tribute to the Allman Brothers.

Jimmy Hall, the lead vocalist and harmonica player of Wet Willie, is another musical legend who will be joining the Devon Allman Project for this performance. Wet Willie was a popular southern rock band in the 1970s, known for their hits such as “Keep On Smilin'” and “Street Corner Serenade.” Hall’s soulful voice and expert harmonica playing will add a touch of nostalgia to the performance, taking the audience back to the golden age of rock and roll.
