Get ready to plug in and let loose at the First Friday Rockin’ n Blues Jam, happening every first Friday at one of the South Bay’s most iconic neighborhood spots—Woodhams Sports Lounge in Santa Clara.
Woodhams isn’t your average bar—it’s a vintage-style dive with real soul. Think dim lighting, worn-in bar stools, pool tables in the back, and the kind of jukebox that knows its way around a Muddy Waters riff. A favorite of local musicians and loyal regulars alike, it’s the perfect home for a gritty, good-time jam session.

The Fountain Blues Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is organized to preserve and promote the indigenous American music known as the blues, and related genres like rock 'n' roll and R&B. Activities take a variety of forms, including live performances, broadcasts, lectures, and community education, culminating in the longest-running blues festival in Northern California: the San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival and live music events throughout the year.
