41st San Jose Fountain Blues & Blues Festival
The 41st San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez, Saturday, June 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., featuring non-stop, award-winning national and regional talent - alternating for nine hours on two stages. In addition to world-class blues, gospel, jazz, swing, soul, R&B, Zydeco and rock bands, the longest running blues festival in Northern California never disappoints with a village-like atmosphere - featuring artist vendor booths; family-friendly lawn games near the beloved Plaza de Cesar Chavez fountain; a craft beer garden to sample of the best in regional craft beers; plus, local ciders, wine, and Southern-focused cuisine.

Donation Drawing: There will be a drawing for a Fender, Stratocaster guitar provided by Guitar Showcase and autographed by all of today’s artists. $5 for 1 Ticket $20 for 5 Tickets. Ticket to merchandise could be purchased at the Fountain Blues Foundation booth near the stage.
What You Need to Know
- Gates open at 11 AM.
- All ticket holders will need to obtain a wristband and have bags checked by security before entering the festival.
- There will be “in and out” privileges with an event wristband. All bags will be rechecked upon reentering.
- Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
- There is no reserved seating, including in the VIP area.
- Sealed packaged food and sealed plastic bottles are allowed.
- No hard-sided coolers.
- No pets, weapons and sharp objects allowed per City of San José ordinances. "Service Dogs" are permitted with proof of certification.
- Service dogs with proper identification permitted.
- Low-back folding chairs and blankets are allowed. Low back lawn chairs typically have a back height ranging from 20 to 28 inches.
- No unauthorized vendors permitted.

Fountain Blues Foundation
The Fountain Blues Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is organized to preserve and promote the indigenous American music known as the blues, and related genres like rock 'n' roll and R&B. Activities take a variety of forms, including live performances, broadcasts, lectures, and community education, culminating in the longest-running blues festival in Northern California: the San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival and live music events throughout the year.

Follow the Music, spearheaded by a passionate group who recognize the profound impact of music, boasts honorary guests such as 49er legend and NFL Hall-of-Famer Ronnie Lott, alongside Oakland music icon and Elevate Oakland co-founder Sheila E.
This innovative program, developed in partnership with Elevate Oakland and key stakeholders in arts, entertainment, media, and sports, serves as the gateway into the vibrant South Bay community. By joining forces with Follow the Music, Fountain Blues Foundation aims to enrich the lives of young people by bringing the transformative power of music directly into their lives. Together, we envision a future where music becomes a catalyst for inspiration, creativity, and community engagement, and we invite you to be a part of this impactful journey.

The Fountain Blues Foundation in partnership with Follow the Music is looking for a rising star to feature at the 41st San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival on June 15. The longest running blues festival in Northern California, Fountain Blues & Brews features non-stop, award-winning national and regional talent - alternating for nine hours on two stages. And YOU could be in the line up!
